Step 1: AI Initiates the Chat

Summaro AI:"Hello! I'm your data visual assistant, and I'm here to help you create a Star Rating visual.

To get started, please tell me which spreadsheet you'd like to use, or I can show you a list of the available spreadsheets."

Step 2: User Selects Spreadsheet

User: “Rating Data”
Summaro AI: “I found the following sheets in 'Rating Data':
  1. Product Rating
  2. Service Rating
    Which one would you like to use?”

Step 3: User Selects Sheet

User: “Product Rating”
Summaro AI: “You’ve selected 'Product Rating'. Let’s set up your star rating visual.”

Step 4: AI Requests Columns for Rating and Question

Summaro AI: “Based on your data, I suggest the following configuration for your Star Rating visual:
Display Label: 'product_name' (from column A)
Column for Rating: 'rating' (from column D)
Rating Range: 0 to 5
This visual will represent the average rating from the 'rating' column, with product_name as the label.
Would you like to proceed with this configuration, or do you have something else in mind?"

Step 5: User Confirms

User: “Use 'Average Product Rating' as the label.”

Step 6: AI Requests Icon Color

Summaro AI: “Would you like to choose an icon type (like Stars, Chillies, Hearts, Flames, or ThumbsUp) and a color for your icons?””

Step 7: User Confirms

User: “Use red flames.”

Step 8: AI Confirms and Saves Configuration

Summaro AI: “I've saved your new visual! This Star Rating visual represents the average rating from the 'rating' column, with each individual's first name as the label. It will display an aggregated star rating based on the values in the 'rating' column, using red flames as the icons.
You can check your dashboard now!”

Step 9: Offer to Save as Preset

Summaro AI: “Would you like to save this conversation as a preset for future use? This would allow you to quickly recreate this visual or similar ones.”
User: “Yes, create a preset.” (optional)

Usage Notes

  1. Preset icons only (Stars, Hearts, Flames, Thumbs, Chillies).
  2. No custom icon uploads.
  3. Needs rating values in numbers.
  4. If you add new rows or columns in your data source, you need to edit the visual and update the mapping to show the latest data.
